Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

Offline Technologies, Inc. ("Okee," "we," "us") runs Okee, a family digital wellness platform for iPhone, and the website okee.app. This policy explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and how to delete it.

The short version

  • We collect only what Okee needs to work.
  • We never sell your information, and we don't share it with advertisers.
  • What your family does inside other apps stays on your phone.
  • You can delete your account in Okee at any time, and it's erased right away.
  • Okee is for kids 6 and older. For kids under 13, a parent gives consent by email before the kid can join.

1. What we collect

From parents and other adults

  • Your name and email. You sign in with Apple, so the email may be a private relay address Apple creates for you.
  • A profile photo or avatar, if you add one.
  • Your role in the family and the goals you set.
  • Your phone number, if you add one in Profile details.

About kids, added by a parent

  • First name, age group and avatar.
  • An email address, only if you choose to invite a kid 13 or older by email.
  • For kids under 13, the record of the parent's consent: the parent's email, the date, the kid's age group, and which version of our notice they agreed to. It doesn't include the kid's name.

From each phone that uses Okee

  • Phone model, iOS version and Okee version.
  • A push notification token, so we can send notifications.
  • When the phone last checked in.
  • Battery level, whether it's charging, low power mode, and network type.
  • Whether notifications and Screen Time are allowed.
  • A short log from Okee's Screen Time tracking on that phone, replaced on each upload, so we can fix problems.

Screen time activity

  • The goals each person sets and the apps picked for them. Apple gives us coded tokens for those apps, not their names.
  • When someone gets close to a goal, goes past it, or ends a session.
  • A daily result for each person: how close they came to their goal, whether they kept it, and their streak.

Rewards

  • Streaks, badges, the rewards a family sets up, and the rewards earned and delivered.
  • Gift card requests, if your family uses them.

What you tell us

  • Survey answers and messages you send to support.

Diagnostics

  • Crash reports and error logs, so we can fix problems.

From the website

  • If you join the waitlist: your email, your first name, whether your family has a kid 13 or older, who referred you, and the ad or link that brought you.
  • If you use the plan builder: your kids' age groups and anything you type. We send these to an AI service to write your plan. We delete our copy of each plan request and plan within 90 days. The AI providers may keep their own copy for a limited time for safety or legal reasons.
  • If you fill out the partner form: your name, email, phone, organization, role, your organization’s website and size, how you heard about us, and your goals.
  • When you visit okee.app: the pages you view, the site that sent you, your country and device type, and how long you stay. We use cookies from our analytics provider and our website host to measure visits and keep the site running.
  • On our FAQ, privacy and terms pages we count visits without analytics cookies or a stored ID, only to see which pages families use. Our analytics provider uses your network address and browser type only to tell visits apart within a day, then deletes them.
  • Our website doesn't respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals.

2. What we don't collect

The per-app minutes, app names and websites you see in Stats come from Apple's Screen Time report on your own phone. Apple doesn't let that report leave the device, so it never reaches our servers.

We don't read what's inside other apps.

3. How we use it

  • To run Okee: goals, streaks, rewards and notifications.
  • To send emails and push notifications about your family's account.
  • To find and fix bugs.
  • To learn what's working so we can make Okee better. We don't collect product analytics from kids under 13.
  • To answer you when you contact us.
  • To write a plan when you use the plan builder on our website.

We don't use your information for advertising.

4. Kids

Okee is for kids 6 and older. A parent or guardian creates the family, adds each kid, and picks their age group. Kids don't create their own accounts. For every kid we collect only the minimum needed to run Okee: first name, age group, avatar, the goals and results described above, and the phone details in section 1.

Kids under 13

We follow COPPA, the US children's privacy law:

  • Before a kid under 13 can use Okee, the parent asks for our notice in the app, and we email it. The notice explains what we collect and why. The parent gives consent by opening the link in that email and confirming on the page it opens. Then we send a confirmation email with a link to withdraw consent.
  • A kid under 13 can't use Okee until a parent has consented. If a parent doesn't confirm within 7 days, the request expires and the new kid's profile is deleted. If we ask again for a kid who already uses Okee (for example, after we change our notice), the kid’s profile is paused, and deleted if there’s no OK within 7 days.
  • We don't collect product analytics from kids under 13.
  • A parent can get a copy of their kid's information in Okee: open your kid's data and tap Get a copy.
  • A parent can withdraw consent at any time with the link in the confirmation email, or by deleting the kid's profile in Okee. We stop collecting and erase the kid's information.
  • We never ask a kid for more information than Okee needs, and no reward depends on sharing more.

Kids 13 to 17

  • A parent adds them and can review or delete their profile in Okee at any time, or by contacting us.
  • We never sell teens' information, and we never use it for advertising or share it for marketing.
  • Product analytics for people 13 and older are described in section 3.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with the companies that help us run Okee, and only so they can do that job for us. Giftbit, our gift card provider, gets only the parent’s email, so it can send a card the family earned. We never send Giftbit any kid’s information. Giftbit’s own terms let it use the email it receives for its own business.

Monthly totals with no names or IDs, like how many families kept their goals, aren't personal information, and we keep them.

7. Deleting your account

  • Your account: in Okee, open Help & support and tap Delete account. Your account is erased right away. There is no waiting period.
  • A kid under 13: deleting the profile also withdraws the parent's consent.
  • A kid's profile: a parent can delete it from Family. A kid can't delete their own profile.
  • The last adult in a family: delete the kids' profiles first, then your account. The family is erased with it.
  • If you delete your Apple account: Apple tells us. If you were the last adult in the family, we erase the family. Otherwise only your account goes, and the family stays with the other adults.

What stays after a deletion:

  • Gift card records already requested or sent, kept for 7 years after the card is sent.
  • Consent records, for 3 years.
  • Records that a deletion happened, with internal IDs and no names, for up to 3 years.
  • Copies in backups, for up to 30 days.
  • Error logs and crash reports, for up to 90 days.
  • Counts with no names or IDs, like how many parents left in a month, and the optional reason you gave for leaving, stored with nothing that links it to you.

8. Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or opt out of marketing emails. Email privacy@okee.app.

9. Security

We limit who can see personal information and use safeguards to protect it. No system is perfectly secure, so we also keep as little as we can, for as short a time as we can.

10. Where your information lives

Okee is based in the United States, and your information is stored and processed there.

11. Changes to this policy

If we make a meaningful change, we'll tell you by email or in Okee before it takes effect.
